Liverpool Removals Ltd – Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking services with Liverpool Removals Ltd. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
1. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Liverpool Removals Ltd.
“You”, “Your” refers to the customer booking our services.
“Services” refers to the removal, packing, unpacking, storage, and related services provided by us.
2. Services
2.1. We provide local and national removals, office moves, packing/unpacking, storage solutions, commercial deliveries, and man-with-a-van services.
2.2. All services are subject to availability and a confirmed booking.
2.3. We reserve the right to refuse a job if we believe it to be unsafe or unreasonable.
3. Quotations & Pricing
3.1. All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3.2. Pricing is based on the information provided by you; changes in load size, access, or distance may affect the final cost.
3.3. Standard pricing for a 1-bedroom move starts at £240. Additional fees may apply for:
Waiting times
Long carry distances
Disassembly/reassembly
Heavy or specialist items (e.g., pianos)
4. Booking & Payment
4.1. A booking is only confirmed once a deposit is received (if applicable).
4.2. Full payment is required on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.3. We accept payment via bank transfer, cash, or card (subject to processing fees).
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
5.1. If you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice, no fee will be charged.
5.2. Cancellations within 24–48 hours of the job will incur a 25% charge.
5.3. Cancellations within 24 hours or on the day will incur a 50% charge.
5.4. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.
6. Liability & Insurance
6.1. We are insured for Goods in Transit and Public Liability.
6.2. We are not liable for:
Items not packed by us unless clearly marked and pre-approved
Fragile items not properly protected
Delays due to traffic, weather, or access restrictions
6.3. Maximum liability per item is £40 unless higher value is declared and accepted in writing prior to the move.
6.4. You must inform us of any valuable or fragile items in advance.
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1. You are responsible for:
Ensuring access to both properties
Securing parking permits if needed
Packing your belongings securely (unless using our packing service)
Notifying us of any changes to the move details
7.2. All appliances must be disconnected and ready for transport.
8. Delays & Postponements
8.1. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by events outside our control.
8.2. If delays result in additional working hours, an hourly rate may be charged.
9. Storage Services
9.1. Storage services are subject to a separate agreement.
9.2. Items left in storage unpaid for more than 60 days may be disposed of or sold to recover costs.
10. Complaints
10.1. Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of your move.
10.2. We aim to resolve all complaints fairly and promptly.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
